	<title>Effects of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation on EEG Mean Frequency and Motor Recovery in Chronic Stroke: A Randomized Controlled Study</title>

The real-tDCs group received 2 mA anodal stimulation over the motor cortex for 20 minutes per session, five times per week, for three weeks. EEG mean frequency and the Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) of the upper extremity were used as the main and secondary outcomes, respectively.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;span style=&quot;background:white&quot;&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;color:#222222&quot;&gt;Results&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;span style=&quot;color:#222222&quot;&gt;: Both groups demonstrated a gradual reduction in EEG mean frequency over time, with a more pronounced decrease in the sham group. This difference was statistically significant only at follow-up (&lt;i&gt;P = 0.02&lt;/i&gt;). The FMA scores improved significantly in both groups (&lt;i&gt;P &lt; 0.001&lt;/i&gt;), with a greater improvement trend in the real-tDCs group; however, intergroup differences were not significant.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;
