<abstract>
Exposure to stressors in early life is an important factor in shaping an individual's health in later stages of life. Besides, the growing range of stressors during the very first 1000 day of human life may lead to critical biophysiological consequences. The results of previous studies have shown that ELA contact to a stressor reduces the capacity of the immune system to produce subsequent generations of naive cells, as well as, the capacity of neuronal stem cells to proliferate. In today's modem societies, stressors and their later-life outcomes have significantly increased, yet the molecular mechanisms behind them are still not well understood. Due to the above reasons, animal models of postnatal stress have been widely developed. Since in the first days of life, a reciprocal relationship between the mother and baby is needed for proper growth and development, disruption of this relationship may lead to permanent changes in neurobiology and neurobehavioral mechanisms of individuals.
</abstract>
